Acid Daddy was my next attempt at a fully automated one-person business, using Printify, Shopify, and AI-generated designs. The concept was simple: let AI generate funky, psychedelic images, put them on hats and clothes, and sell them to festival lovers. I'm not proud of the name. It was an inside joke that escaped containment.
I spent a good eight months on this project, and I built some incredible things. I got to the point where I could generate images, automatically pump them through a pipeline, put the designs on various products, and publish them to my website.
It was an incredibly fun project. I learned a lot about product design, automation, website design, SEO, GEO, all the things that go into a successful e-commerce store. It was one of the few projects that actually made money. But I eventually shut it down because, while it was fun, psychedelic festival gear isn't exactly a passion of mine.
